During the meeting, bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed, and developments in regional and international situations were discussed, most notably the military escalation in the Middle East region, and the latest developments in the Ukrainian crisis.

The meeting was attended by Minister of State, Cabinet Member and National Security Advisor Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture Abdulrahman bin Abdulmohsen Al-Fadhli, Head of General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan, and Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Ukraine Mohammed Al-Barakah.

On the Ukrainian side, those present included the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Rustam Omerov; the First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, Serhiy Kyslytsya; the Chief of the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Andriy Hanatov; the Ukrainian Ambassador to the Kingdom, Anatoliy Petrenko; and the Deputy Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, David Aloyan.
