Dutch midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum missed Al-Ettifaq's training session on Monday evening as the team resumed group training after the holiday break. Wijnaldum's absence was due to changes in his travel arrangements to Dammam. Al-Ettifaq's manager, Saad Al-Shehri, had granted the players a nine-day break at the start of the international break. Al-Ettifaq lost their last league match before the break, falling 1-0 to Al-Fayha in the 16th round of the Roshan League. Al-Ettifaq is scheduled to host Al-Qadisiyah at 9:00 PM on Sunday, April 5th, in the 27th round of the league

Wijnaldum was not present at Al-Ettifaq's training session due to changes in his travel arrangements to Dammam.

Al-Ettifaq's technical director, Saad Al-Shehri, had given the players a nine-day break with the start of the international break.

Al-Ettifaq lost in their last appearance in the Roshan League before the break, by a score of 1-0 against Al-Fayha, in the (16) round of the Roshan League.

Al-Ettifaq is scheduled to host Al-Qadisiyah at 9 pm on Sunday, April 5, as part of the (27) round of the Roshan League.

Before the international break, Al-Ettifaq team occupies the seventh position in the Roshan League standings with (39) points.
