Dutch professional player Wijnaldum, who plays for Al-Ettifaq, was absent from his team's training session on Monday evening, as group training resumed after the end of the holiday period.
Wijnaldum was not present at Al-Ettifaq's training session due to changes in his travel arrangements to Dammam.
Al-Ettifaq's technical director, Saad Al-Shehri, had given the players a nine-day break with the start of the international break.
Al-Ettifaq lost in their last appearance in the Roshan League before the break, by a score of 1-0 against Al-Fayha, in the (16) round of the Roshan League.
Al-Ettifaq is scheduled to host Al-Qadisiyah at 9 pm on Sunday, April 5, as part of the (27) round of the Roshan League.
Before the international break, Al-Ettifaq team occupies the seventh position in the Roshan League standings with (39) points.
