The Eid celebration was distinguished by the presentation of a special package of recreational activities and events suitable for children. The events were also distinguished by the presence of 15 large inflatable games of various types suitable for all children, young and old.
The events were well received by families and visitors due to their diversity and suitability for all age groups. Visitors interacted with the folkloric events and performances presented. The stage presented a variety of diverse segments this year, including folk games, folkloric groups, competitions, various prizes, and children's corners. The events also included the distribution of free gifts and games for children on the occasion of the holiday.
Additionally, 24 booths were allocated to productive families whose exhibits varied from food and sweets to handicrafts, heritage items, and special commercial works.
For his part, the Mayor of Ras Tanura Governorate, Engineer Muhammad Al-Jassem, indicated the municipality’s keenness to hold events during the holidays to share the joys with the community and bring smiles to everyone’s faces, as part of its social responsibility towards the community, and described it as a gift presented by the Ras Tanura Municipality to the people of Ras Tanura Governorate.
Engineer Al-Jassem added that this event was distinguished by attracting a large number of visitors from locals and foreign residents, whether from Ras Tanura Governorate or from neighboring governorates.
The municipality affirmed its continued work in creating an atmosphere of joy and happiness for citizens and residents in the governorate by holding and developing events in the future, which contributes to supporting tourism and entertainment to enhance the quality of life, in accordance with the directives of His Excellency the Secretary of the Eastern Province, Engineer Fahd Al-Jubair.
