The mosques and their courtyards were filled with worshippers of all ages, who flocked there early in celebration of the Eid and keen to perform the prayer in congregation, following the Sunnah of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace.
Integrated organization
The prayer was held about 15 minutes after sunrise, amidst comprehensive organization by the concerned authorities who worked to facilitate the movement of worshippers and provide the necessary services in the vicinity of the mosques, in order to ensure that the ritual was performed in a safe and reassuring atmosphere.
Following the prayer, the worshippers exchanged greetings and congratulations, in a manner that reflects the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity among members of the community, asking God to accept their fasting and prayers, and to bring this occasion back to the Islamic nation with goodness, prosperity and blessings.
