Al-Ula recorded the highest rainfall; varying amounts of rain were recorded in seven regions of the Kingdom

Various regions across the Kingdom experienced varying amounts of rainfall over the past 24 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded in the village of Al-Dhalia in Al-Ula Governorate, Madinah Region, at 9.2 mm. The three villages in Al-Ais recorded 8.4 mm, Fadla in Al-Ula 5.7 mm, and Al-Ula Airport 3.5 mm. According to the daily report from the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on rainfall monitoring across the Kingdom, 22 hydrological and climatological monitoring stations recorded rainfall in the Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, Eastern Province, Tabuk, Northern Borders, and Al-Jawf regions between 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 15th and 9:00 AM on Sunday, March 16th, 2026. According to the daily report of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on monitoring rainfall amounts in all regions of the Kingdom, 22 hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded rainfall in the regions of Riyadh, Madinah, Qassim, the Eastern Province, Tabuk, the Northern Borders, and Al-Jawf during the period from 9:00 AM on Saturday, March 15, until 9:00 AM on Sunday, March 16, 2026.

The report indicated that Al-Jawf Airport in the Al-Jawf region recorded 4.0 mm, Al-Shaqiq in Dumat Al-Jandal recorded 0.9 mm, while the Northern Borders region recorded 2.5 mm in Al-Sha’bah in Rafha, 1.5 mm at Rafha Airport, and 1.2 mm at Arar Airport. Al-Jahra Center in Tayma Governorate in the Tabuk region recorded 2.3 mm, Juraysh Security Center in Tayma recorded 1.4 mm, and Tayma recorded 1.0 mm.

Eastern Province Rain

The report explained that the Eastern Province recorded 1.6 mm in Qaisumah Airport in Hafr Al-Batin, and 1.0 mm in Ras Mishab in Khafji, while the Hail region recorded 1.3 mm in Aqdah in Hail, and 0.5 mm in Baqaa.

Meanwhile, the Qassim region recorded 1.1 mm in Al-Shamasiya, 0.6 mm in Dakhna in Al-Rass, and 0.5 mm in Shari in Buraidah. Al-Andalus neighborhood in Al-Ghat Governorate in the Riyadh region recorded 1.0 mm, and Nafi in Al-Dawadmi recorded 0.9 mm.
