The Israeli army said in a statement posted on its official Telegram account: “A short time ago, missiles were detected launched from Iran . Defense systems are working to intercept the threat.”
Iranian missile strikes
In this context, 12 people were injured Tuesday evening in two cities near Tel Aviv in the occupied territories as a result of Iranian missile strikes, according to the Israeli ambulance service.
A statement from the Israeli ambulance service said that rescue teams in Bnei Brak were “providing medical care and transferring nine injured people” to hospitals, including “a 23-year-old man (…) who was hit by shrapnel.”.
The agency noted that the other eight injured people had “minor injuries (…) including six minors,” and indicated that its crews evacuated three people injured in an explosion in Givat Shmuel, the city adjacent to Bnei Brak.
