The prayer was led by Sheikh Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al Sheikh, a faculty member at the Higher Institute for the Judiciary, who began his sermon by praising and thanking God Almighty, then praying and sending peace upon the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, calling for piety towards God and being mindful of His blessings upon His servants, and following the Sunnah of His Prophet on the day of Eid and the joy of Muslims on it.
Eid al-Fitr prayer in Riyadh
He noted the blessing of security and stability that the Kingdom enjoys under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister - may God protect them - asking God Almighty to protect this nation, its leadership and people, and to perpetuate security, safety, prosperity and flourishing for it and for all Muslim countries, and to accept from everyone their fasting, prayers and all their deeds.
