Rainfall in 9 regions... Asir records the highest amount at 52.0 mm

The Asir region recorded the highest rainfall amounts, with 52.0 mm at Abha Airport, 50.8 mm in Al-Fawhah in Balqarn, 40.2 mm in Al-Tamam in Abha, 37.8 mm in both Tayyib in Abha and Al-Asran in Sarat Abidah, 35.8 mm in Al-Asrah in Al-Namas, 31.6 mm in North Al-Bashair in Balqarn, and 20.6 mm in both Al-Shaaf in Abha and the airbase in Khamis Mushait. According to the daily report of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on monitoring rainfall amounts in all regions of the Kingdom, 63 hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded rainfall in 9 regions during the past twenty-four hours: Riyadh, Makkah, the Eastern Province, Asir, Tabuk, the Northern Borders, Jazan, Najran and Al-Baha.

The report indicated that the Riyadh region recorded 14.2 mm of rainfall on King Abdullah Road in Al-Aflaj, 13.4 mm in Layla in Al-Aflaj, 11.8 mm in Al-Aflaj, and 5.8 mm in As-Sulayyil. Meanwhile, the Al-Baha region recorded 11.2 mm in Al-Muhammadiyah neighborhood in Baljurashi, 3.8 mm at King Saud Airport in Al-Aqiq, 3.3 mm in Jarab in Al-Aqiq, and 1.4 mm in Wadi Khaytan in Baljurashi.

Eastern Province Rain

The Eastern Province recorded 8.4 mm of rainfall in Yabrin, Al-Ahsa. Meanwhile, Makkah recorded 6.4 mm in Al-Raym, Al-Ardiyat, 4.8 mm in Bani Saad, Maysan, 3.0 mm in Khamis Harb, Al-Qunfudhah, and 1.3 mm in Al-Suwar, Taif.

The report indicated that rainfall was recorded in Thar, Najran region (3.6 mm), Badr Al-Janoub (0.8 mm), and Al-Khalidiyah in Yadmah (0.6 mm). Fifa, Jazan region, recorded 2.0 mm, while Al-Raith and Al-Dayer each recorded 0.6 mm. The Northern Borders region recorded 1.0 mm in both Tarif Airport and Al-Khalidiyah in Tarif, and 0.8 mm in Tarif itself. Tabuk region recorded 0.8 mm in Abu Al-Qazaz, Al-Wajh.
