In Riyadh and Al-Jawf, five people were arrested for begging

Security patrols in the Riyadh region apprehended four Yemeni nationals for violating border security regulations by begging. They were detained and legal procedures were initiated against them. Similarly, security patrols in the Al-Jawf region apprehended a Bangladeshi resident for begging. He was detained and legal procedures were initiated against him. The Public Security Directorate urged donors to direct their donations through official and approved platforms to ensure they reach those in need. This comes as part of the efforts exerted by the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Public Security Directorate, to combat the phenomenon of begging in all its forms.
