According to Sunday’s statement, moderate to heavy thunderstorms are expected to continue, leading to flash floods accompanied by hail showers and active winds that may cause dust storms and reduce horizontal visibility to almost zero in parts of the Madinah, Tabuk, Al-Jawf, Northern Borders, Hail, Al-Qassim, Riyadh and Eastern regions .

While light to moderate conditions are expected in parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Fog in parts of these areas.

Red Sea

  • Surface winds: Southeasterly to southerly, gradually turning northwesterly to northerly over the northern and central parts, at a speed of 20-55 km/h.
  • Wave height: from one and a half meters to two and a half meters.
  • Sea state: Moderate to rough.

Arabian Gulf

  • Surface winds: Northwesterly to northerly, turning northeasterly to easterly in the afternoon at a speed of 10-35 km/h, reaching up to 50 km/h, with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.
  • Wave height: from half a meter to one and a half meters, reaching two and a half meters with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.
  • Sea state: Light to moderate waves, becoming rough with the formation of rain-bearing thunderclouds over the northern part.
