Approximately 600 boys, young men, scout leaders, and female leaders are participating in carrying out organizational and guidance tasks for pilgrims in the courtyards of the Holy Mosque in Mecca.
scouts undertake a number of field roles that contribute to organizing the movement of crowds within the courtyards, arranging prayer places, guiding and directing pilgrims, in addition to supporting the activation of organizational routes designated for the movement of visitors, in order to enhance the smoothness of movement and contribute to facilitating the performance of rituals, especially with the large increase in the number of pilgrims during the last ten days of Ramadan.
The participants work with a high spirit of volunteerism, feeling the honor of serving the guests of God. Through their participation, the young men and women embody a bright image of giving and volunteer work, and present an honorable model for the young men and women of the nation who contribute their efforts to supporting the organizational work within the Holy Mosque of Mecca.
The scouts’ participation comes within the framework of an integrated system of efforts implemented by the association in cooperation with the authorities concerned with serving the Grand Mosque, which enhances the culture of volunteer work and confirms the role of the sons and daughters of the Kingdom in contributing to serving the pilgrims and facilitating their spiritual journey during this blessed season.
