Hafr Al-Batin Al-A'la: The Ministry of Environment reveals rainfall amounts in the Kingdom's regions

Most regions of the Kingdom witnessed varying amounts of rainfall over the past 24 hours. The highest rainfall was recorded at the Hafr Al-Batin Air Base station in the Eastern Province, at 21.2 mm. Hafr Al-Batin and Qaisumah Airport stations in the same region each recorded 17.6 mm, while Khafji recorded 10.2 mm, and King Fahd Road in Ar'ar, Al-Ahsa, recorded 7.1 mm. The highest amount of rain was recorded at the airbase monitoring station in Hafr Al-Batin in the Eastern Province, at 21.2 mm, while the Hafr Al-Batin and Qaisumah Airport stations in the region each recorded 17.6 mm, while Al-Khafji recorded 10.2 mm, and King Fahd Road in Ar'ar in Al-Ahsa recorded 7.1 mm.

Rainfall amounts in Saudi regions

According to the daily report of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on monitoring rainfall amounts in all regions of the Kingdom, 84 hydrological and climatic monitoring stations recorded rainfall in the past 24 hours in the regions of (Riyadh, Makkah, Qassim, Eastern, Asir, Jazan, Najran, Al-Baha).

The report indicated that the Riyadh region recorded 16.4 mm in Al-Ruwaidah in Al-Quwai’iyah, 11.9 mm in the agricultural nursery in Shaqra, 11.4 mm in Al-Sulaimaniyah neighborhood in Al-Quwai’iyah, 11.0 mm in Khaf in Al-Dawadmi, and 10.7 mm in Al-Khatamah in Al-Majma’ah.

Meanwhile, the Makkah region recorded 8.4 mm in Bani Saad in Maysan, 2.2 mm in Al-Balad station in Taif, and 2.0 mm in Al-Quray’ Bani Malik center in Maysan Governorate.

Rain in Saudi Arabia

The report explained that the Qassim region recorded 2.0 mm in the branch of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Al-Nabhania, and 1.8 mm in Riyadh Al-Khabra, while Al-Asira in Al-Namas in the Asir region recorded 2.8 mm, 1.8 mm in Abs in Al-Majardah, and 0.9 mm in North Al-Bashair in Balqarn.

The Jazan region recorded 4.0 mm in Al-Qara’a in Al-Ardah, while Najran Airport in the Najran region recorded 2.7 mm, and 1.8 mm in Hima in Thar Governorate, and the Al-Baha region recorded 0.6 mm at the Shabraqa monitoring station in the region.
