Hawsawi injured, Lajami joins Saudi national team training ahead of Egypt friendly

The Saudi national team continued their training this evening in Jeddah, as part of their preparatory camp held during the March FIFA international window, which is the third phase of their program to prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™. The players trained at the King Abdullah Sports City training ground in Jeddah, under the supervision of head coach Hervé Renard. The session began with a warm-up, followed by possession drills, then tactical exercises, before concluding with small-sided games in various areas of the pitch. The national first team continued its training this evening, Monday, in Jeddah Governorate, as part of its preparatory camp held within the framework of the third phase of the preparation program for the FIFA World Cup 2026™, during the FIFA International Days period for the month of March.

The Green Team players conducted their training session at the training ground in King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, under the supervision of the technical director Hervé Renard. The training session began with a warm-up exercise, followed by possession exercises, then tactical exercises, before concluding with small-sided games in various areas.

In a related development, player Ali Lajami joined the first team's training sessions, coming from the B team camp after being called up by the technical director.

On the other hand, player Hassan Al-Tambakti completed his treatment program with the medical staff, while player Zakaria Hawsawi did not complete the training session due to feeling pain in his knee.

The national team will continue its training tomorrow evening, Tuesday, with a session at the reserve stadium in King Abdullah Sports City at 7:00 PM, and it will be available to the media during the first quarter of an hour.
